OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE JOURNEY
As we look at where we are in relationship to the Reference Point of God’s Word on this journey of faith, we can traverse the road together. Living Water has opportunities designed to provide you with resources and encouragement to embark together with us on this lifetime process of spiritual growth.
Fellowship Gathering – coming together for worship, spiritual growth, accountability and service. We are called together as a group of people to be Christ’s body – to be His hands, His voice, His heart to others. We are not called together to “attend” church, but rather to BE the church of Christ. As you read the scriptures, it becomes clear that it is God’s purpose that we come together. In Hebrews 10:25 we are counseled, “let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.”
Our Fellowship Gathering meets every Saturday morning with study for all ages at 10:00 a.m. and a blended family worship at 11:15 a.m. (Fellowship Gathering Information)
Fellowship Group - During the week, joining together in a small groups in a home venue for fellowship, spiritual growth, and mission. In Acts 2 it describes the early church saying, “They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer…They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42, 46-47 (Fellowship Gathering Information) A friend of the same gender that you can meet with weekly for an hour. That hour will be for: ☺Friendship in a co-mentoring relationship ☺Praying for each others needs ☺Studying the Bible for spiritual growth ☺Affirming & equipping your call to ministry ☺Holding each other accountable ☺Encouragement to reach out to others ☺Preparation to enter other co-mentoring relationships in the future as God leads you both to walk alongside someone else in spritual growth and friendship.
